A jovial bar image of beer bottles cheering, one held by a prosthetic hand. The photo comes from The Demon Couple Upstairs, a TV Pilot which the composer scored.
An up-close eye is a striking centerpiece to this photo gallery. His gaze is gentle and his retina sparkles in the warm sun. This eye is the artist ByHaze, and the photo is a still image from the Clovis Lane documentary that Jeremy scored.

For Theatre

Jeremy’s theatrical work extends beyond the score. He directs and teaches cast members, conducts ensembles, and records immersive surround-sound environments that reshape how audiences interpret the stage action. A photo from Pepperdine's production of the Tempest. It is an artistic shot of the wizard Prospero, as his white robe swirls and catches the light. The backdrop is the set, a twisted arch of trees. The colors are neutrals and the camera work is stunning.
The silhouette of the cast members creating a monsterous shape with clawed hands against a frightening backdrop of gold lighting, reflected on the glossy stage. This image comes from Pepperdine's production of Passage, which Jeremy scored. The shot captures the feel of being on stage.
Jeremy plays cello on stage in all black, with a spotlight and variety of microphones capturing the sound. This photo is from Pepperdine's production of Passage, where the live instrument is paired with Jeremy's surround sound textural score.
A lead spirit from the Tempest sings Jeremy's melodic setting of the Shakespearean text. The actor descends down the staircase which is part of the set, with expertly crafted windblown trees as a backdrop. The scrim is illuminated with ominous teal and burgundy colors, making the actor's bright spotlight even more dramatic.
A detailed up-close shot of a red crystal sound bowl being played. The light hits the glassy surface to create a warm bokeh effect, and the high-end lens focuses on the textured bubbles of the glass. Jeremy recorded this bowl for the Open App.

Jeremy plays cello seated on a concrete staircase outdoors, with trees and a mountain in the background. Nature is reflected in the varnish of the cello, and the musician's bow and face are blurred to capture the motion of the moment. The photo was taken at Runyon Canyon Trail in California.
Extremely close photo of the cello being played. You can see the strings blurring into the distance, with yellow light striking the dusty varnish against a grayish pink background. The bow glides across the string, and the bridge supports the tension.

Classical Concert Music

Jeremy creates orchestral and chamber music for international ensembles, guided by an attention to texture and contour. His writing draws on fieldwork observing birdsong, rhythmic studies of coastlines and cities, and the infinite properties of musical sequences.
